Become an ad-hoc missionary!  Read your scriptures on-the-go!  Enable yourself to study anywhere!  Looking for the convenience of having evangelism tools, scriptures,  study or worship aids, & various other church materials compatible for smart phones or tablets?  Then you’re in the right place!

Check out my latest blog here!

On this page you will find a large number of church resources that I have converted for easy viewing on a smart phone or tablet.  Below you will find different categories of converted church materials.  In each, there are links to launch the appropriate PDF file, which you can then download.  “(S)” versions are for smart phones.  “(T)” versions are for tablets.  So, for any given resource, there should be two versions. If you don’t see what you are looking for, let me know.  I don’t mind doing requests.  I’ve already converted a large number of documents for my own personal use, but now that I’m making them available here, I need to gradually add a disclaimer to each one, which takes time, so this page will expand, and the various categories below will give you an idea of what is coming.

Disclaimer: Though some of these resources are based on official church materials, these versions were not made available by the church, and are not sanctioned by the church;  therefore the church is not responsible for any errors they may contain.  If you happen to come across an error, please let me know.

What do I do now? Probably the easiest way to get the files onto your device is to use your device to visit this page.  Then, click on the links for the files you want, which will open a pdf file on your device, and if you have a pdf app. (like GoodReader), it will probably give you the option to then open it within that app, and it should then always be available for viewing in that app.

Or, download the PDF file to your computer, and then transfer it to your mobile device, by connecting your device to your computer, or email the files to yourself, and open your email on the device in question. On most devices, you can open the files from your email, but that would probably not be a good way to find them later on.

Ideally, you should have a PDF reader app. of some sort. I use an app. called GoodReader. It does cost money, and there is a different app. per device (phone and tablet), so you have to pay for it twice if you have one of each, but its well worth the cost in my opinion. It permits you to create folders (within the app) as many as you want, and you can create nested folders (folders within folders), as deep as you want. This is ideal for organizing all your files, which can include other types of documents (not just PDFS). I have one “Church” folder, and in that, I have several subfolders, each of which have further subfoldres, and it makes organizing and finding files a lot easier.

Note: Some of the resources in this category are not derived from official resources.  For example, the church does not have a document called “Courage in the Face of Death”.  It is simply a collection of scriptures (which are derived from official resources) that may bring comfort to those nearing death, or to those who have lost someone.  A similar resource, “Scriptures of Comfort”, contains verses to help bring comfort for those who are dealing with issues, but who are not nearing death.  “Preparation” is a resource I came across on how to prepare and perform the sacrament.  Unfortunately, I do not know who wrote it.  “Prayers of Repentance & Consecration” contain two sample prayers that I wrote.  I created the repentance prayer because I decided that before I ask God to consecrate my oil (or ask anything of God), I should first seek to repent.  “Prayer Vigil” has some scripture verses and a sample congregational prayer of repentance that may be helpful during a prayer vigil worship service.  “Sacrament of Healing Grace” & “The Spirits Healing Power” are both church articles that were posted on the old church website.

WORSHIP

Please note: The Daily Prayer for Peace files should be used for personal use only. They are meant to be a handy means of looking up the nation-of-the-day, should you find yourself desiring to offer up a peace prayer. These files should not be used if you are planning an event incorporating the Daily Prayer for Peace. For such purposes, please check the official schedule on the church’s website, as World Church has indicated that the schedule may change.

These files do *not* replace the schedule on the website, which include numerous special events not found in these files. It is strongly recommended that each month, you visit the church website, and note the various special dates for that month (such as “World Hunger Day”, etc.). The schedule on the church website can be found here.

  1. My name is Kristopher Taylor – As the coordinator and manager of the Daily Prayer for Peace service, I want I make it clear that all lectionary schedules and nation rotations may be updated, revised, and rescheduled, in the wake of special events, new church initiatives, and holiday worship themes. Thank you and Gob bless – Kristopher

    • Thank you Kristopher for providing that information. I’ve added a statement to ensure people are aware that the schedule may change.
